Welcome to WeddingVenues.in (“WeddingVenues”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions / Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WeddingVenues.in website, mobile applications, services, business listing services, venue and vendor discovery services, enquiry services, and other features made available by WeddingVenues (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. About WeddingVenues

WeddingVenues is an online platform intended to help users discover and connect with wedding venues, event venues, and wedding-related service providers.

The Platform may display information relating to venues and vendors, including but not limited to:

• Business or venue names
• Photographs and images
• Addresses and locations
• Contact information
• Capacity and facilities
• Food and catering information
• Pricing or estimated pricing
• Services offered
• Availability-related information
• Venue or vendor policies
• Operating hours
• Offers and discounts
• Reviews, ratings, and other user-generated content

WeddingVenues may also provide forms or other mechanisms through which users can submit enquiries, request information, schedule visits, or express interest in a venue or vendor.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law to use the Platform.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, organisation, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

Certain features may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information;
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• Not share your account credentials with unauthorised persons;
• Notify WeddingVenues if you believe your account has been compromised;
• Use your account only for lawful purposes; and
• Keep your account information reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you can demonstrate that such activity occurred without your authorisation and despite reasonable security measures.

WeddingVenues reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that the account has been misused, compromised, or used in violation of these Terms.

4. Business Accounts

Businesses and service providers may register for a business account and submit information for publication on the Platform.

A business is responsible for ensuring that all information it provides is:

• Accurate;
• Complete;
• Current;
• Lawful;
• Not misleading; and
• Properly authorised for publication.

Business information may include photographs, descriptions, prices, addresses, contact details, facilities, policies, offers, menus, services, and other information relating to the business.

WeddingVenues may request additional information or documentation to verify a business or listing.

Registration or publication of a business listing does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, certification, guarantee, or warranty by WeddingVenues.

5. Business Listings and Information

WeddingVenues may obtain listing information from businesses, users, publicly available sources, third-party sources, or other legitimate sources.

Although we may take reasonable steps to maintain and update information, we do not guarantee that every listing or item of information is complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

Prices, availability, offers, capacity, facilities, policies, timings, taxes, cancellation terms, and other information may change without notice.

Users should independently confirm important information directly with the relevant venue or vendor before making a booking, payment, purchase, or other commitment.

6. Images, Photographs and Other Business Content

Businesses and other authorised users may submit photographs, logos, descriptions, videos, and other content for publication on the Platform.

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

1. You own the content or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it;
2. The content does not infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
3. You have obtained any permissions required from persons appearing in the content; and
4. The content does not violate applicable law.

By submitting content to WeddingVenues, you grant WeddingVenues a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, adapt, format, distribute, and otherwise use that content for operating, promoting, marketing, and improving the Platform and its services.

WeddingVenues may resize, crop, compress, format, or otherwise technically modify submitted content where reasonably necessary for publication or technical purposes.

7. User-Generated Content

Users may be permitted to submit reviews, ratings, photographs, comments, enquiries, feedback, or other content (“User Content”).

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit.

You must not submit content that:

• Is false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;
• Is defamatory or unlawful;
• Infringes intellectual property rights;
• Violates another person's privacy;
• Contains malicious software;
• Contains personal information of another person without proper authorisation;
• Is abusive, threatening, hateful, or harassing;
• Is intended to manipulate ratings or reviews; or
• Is otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

WeddingVenues may remove, restrict, modify, or decline to publish User Content where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of the Platform.

8. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings represent the opinions or experiences of the users who submit them.

WeddingVenues does not necessarily endorse or agree with individual reviews, ratings, or statements.

Users must not:

• Submit fake reviews;
• Review a business solely to manipulate its rating;
• Submit reviews on behalf of another person;
• Offer or accept compensation in exchange for misleading reviews;
• Submit multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating reviews; or
• Make knowingly false statements about a business.

Businesses may contact WeddingVenues to report content that they reasonably believe is fraudulent, unlawful, or otherwise violates these Terms.

9. Enquiries, Leads and Communications

The Platform may allow users to submit their name, telephone number, email address, event information, location, date, guest count, message, or other details to enquire about a venue or vendor.

By submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge that WeddingVenues may use the information to facilitate communication with the relevant business or service provider.

Depending on the feature used, WeddingVenues and/or the relevant business may contact you by telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or other available communication methods regarding your enquiry.

You should review our Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is handled.

10. Bookings and Transactions

Where the Platform facilitates a booking, enquiry, appointment, or other transaction, the applicable terms presented during that process may also apply.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, WeddingVenues is a platform connecting users with venues and vendors and is not the owner, operator, employee, agent, or representative of the listed venue or vendor.

The actual contract for a venue booking, service, payment, cancellation, refund, event arrangement, catering service, decoration service, photography service, or other service may be between the user and the relevant business.

WeddingVenues doesn’t accept any kind of payment transactions.

Users should carefully review the business's applicable:

• Pricing;
• Availability;
• Booking conditions;
• Advance payment requirements;
• Cancellation policy;
• Refund policy;
• Taxes;
• Food and beverage policies;
• Decoration policies;
• Venue timings; and
• Other applicable terms.

11. Prices, Offers and Discounts

Prices and offers displayed on the Platform may be supplied by businesses or obtained from other sources.

Displayed prices may be indicative and may be subject to:

• Event date;
• Number of guests;
• Selected package;
• Applicable taxes;
• Additional services;
• Availability;
• Business-specific conditions; or
• Other charges.

Any discount or promotional offer is subject to the terms applicable to that offer.

Users should confirm the final price and applicable conditions directly with the relevant business before making payment or committing to a booking.

12. Third-Party Businesses

WeddingVenues may provide information about independent businesses and service providers.

WeddingVenues does not, unless expressly stated otherwise, control the day-to-day operation, quality, legality, availability, pricing, employees, products, services, or conduct of listed businesses.

A listing on WeddingVenues does not by itself constitute a guarantee or certification of the business.

Any dispute concerning the quality, delivery, performance, cancellation, refund, payment, or other aspect of a business's service should ordinarily be addressed with the relevant business, without limiting any rights you may have under applicable law.

13. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable law;
• Create fraudulent accounts;
• Impersonate another person or business;
• Provide false business information;
• Scrape, copy, harvest, or systematically collect Platform data without permission;
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the Platform;
• Introduce malware or harmful code;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access;
• Manipulate reviews, rankings, listings, or search results;
• Use automated systems in a manner that adversely affects the Platform;
• Send spam or unsolicited communications;
• Misuse another person's personal information;
• Infringe intellectual property rights; or
• Engage in any activity that may damage, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform.

14. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, software, design, branding, logos, graphics, text, compilation, and other materials are owned by or licensed to WeddingVenues, except for content supplied by third parties.

You may access and use the Platform for personal or legitimate business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit WeddingVenues' proprietary materials without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may contain links, maps, integrations, advertisements, or services provided by third parties.

WeddingVenues does not control third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, or terms.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to the third party's own terms and policies.

16. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, security incidents, infrastructure issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

17. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, information on the Platform is provided for general informational and discovery purposes.

WeddingVenues does not guarantee that:

• A listing will remain available;
• A venue or vendor will accept a booking;
• Displayed prices will remain unchanged;
• Information will always be accurate or current;
• A business will perform a service as described;
• A business will honour a particular offer;
• A venue will have the stated availability; or
• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WeddingVenues will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from or relating to your use of the Platform or dealings with a listed business.

This may include losses arising from:

• Changes in venue availability;
• Incorrect or outdated listing information;
• Business cancellations;
• Service quality;
• Booking disputes;
• Pricing differences;
• Event-related losses;
• Third-party services; or
• Communications between users and businesses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold WeddingVenues and its directors, employees, contractors, and service providers harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms;
• Your unlawful use of the Platform;
• Your User Content;
• Your violation of another person's rights; or
• Your dealings with a business through the Platform.

20. Suspension and Termination

WeddingVenues may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate access to accounts or listings where reasonably necessary, including where:

• These Terms are violated;
• Information is fraudulent or misleading;
• The account poses a security risk;
• The Platform is being abused;
• Applicable law requires action; or
• The business or user otherwise misuses the Platform.

Where appropriate, WeddingVenues may provide notice before taking such action.

21. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the WeddingVenues Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.

22. Changes to These Terms

WeddingVenues may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, courts having appropriate jurisdiction in New Delhi, India, shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms specifically applicable to particular services, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Platform, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
